By 2030, over 80% of cars will have some form of electric power. Electric vehicles are here to stay.
Amazon and UPS have already ordered 100K EV trucks. Other commercial transportation fleets will be close behind. These companies will enjoy operational cost savings because of their EV fleets.

Ford and GM have multi-billion-dollar investments in EV development and are expected to launch new models in 2021. Almost every major car manufacturer offers electric options and has committed to electric power for the future.
Battery cost reduction and EV production efficiencies will make EVs cheaper than their gas-powered brethren as soon as this year. The transition in the U.S. is likely to be dramatic. As prices fall, manufacturers will compete for volume and consumer acceptance will become mainstream. Our nation's transportation infrastructure will change dramatically in the future . just as it did when the country moved from horse to the Model T.
